2,000sf addition and renovation
Light and volume abound in what used to be a confined, Depression-era home. The addition - though adding a mere 400sf to the main level - allowed enough room to alter the circulation for a more logical layout, creating a harmony between the living, dining & kitchen spaces. The vaulting of the ceiling allowed for higher windows in order to have daylight reach further toward the center of the space.
The new kitchen is now open and inviting to guests, and the bowling-alley salvaged dining table adds a conversation piece to the ensemble of mid-century furniture.
